Good morning everybody,

Just a quick update to let you know that there will be a committee meeting tonight at 7PM at North Dalton Park.

I’d like to invite you to attend, it is a great opportunity to meet the current committee. We will also be voting on junior members joining the committee including electing a Junior Vice President. Any junior member is welcome to join the committee, even if you can’t attend tonight. If you are interested, feel free to give me a call or send me a message, 0430 115 809.

Joining the committee doesn’t require a huge time commitment, and we understand everyone has busy schedules. Even a small contribution can help shape the future of our junior cohort.

Coaching Announcements:
We are delighted to announce that we have appointed coaches for a few age groups.

Under 11s Girls: Libby Hall, last year’s assistant coach, reigning women’s best and fairest and committee member.

Under 13s Mixed: Shannon Courtney, coached the under 11s mixed team to an undefeated premiership in 2024.

Under 15s Girls: The dynamic duo of super mum/committee member/Women’s player Lisa Meredith and Lions Women’s captain Lauren Myers return to the helm for 2025.

Under 17s boys: Macca Dooley and Ben Cooper, both top senior players originally from the country, with Macca being our Men’s reigning Best and Fairest.

Registration:
We’re aiming to field a team in every age group. Having amazing facilities and a fantastic community, we believe this is very achievable.
We encourage all players to spread the word and invite friends and family to join. More training and ‘Come and Try’ session details will be shared after tonight’s meeting.
